Born in Créteil, he learned his rugby at RC Massy and Stade Français. He spent 8 seasons at Rugby Club Toulonnais where he won three European cups and a French championship. He won the Six Nations Tournament in 2010 and participated in the 2015 World Cup with France. He has been selected to play for France 47 times. As from 2019 he was repositioned as a number 8 and continued his career at LOU and Rugby United New York. He then moved on to play for LOU and is now ending his career at RC Toulon where today he is the Team Manager.
